5 de febrero jornadas del IRTA en LLeida.
El IRTA organiza el próximo día 5 de febrero, en las instalaciones del Parque Científico y Tecnológico Agroalimentario de Lleida, una jornada que lleva como título: La poscosecha de la pera en el estado de Oregón.
Los problemas como el fuego bacteriano, la Psila, la convivencia de nuevas y viejas plantaciones, el control del vigor, etc., hacen que haya muchas similitudes entre la fruticultura de esta zona y en nuestras comarcas.
El Dr. David Sugar, ponente de la jornada, tiene una dilatada experiencia en el manejo poscosecha de la pera. Los Estados Unidos, con 795.000 Tn, es el segundo productor de peras del mundo después de China.
