Los regantes de la Acequia de Ontiñena acuerdan la ejecución de las balsas laterales.
Reunidos en Asambrea extraordinaria, celebrada el día 19, la Comunidad de Regantes de la Acequia de Ontiñena, acordaron por unanimidad financiar las balsas laterales que se proyectaron en esta acequia. Consideran que el coste de la infraestructura es perfectamente asumible por parte de los regantes, y de esta manera ponen en marcha un proyecto que estaba paralizado por cuestione presupuestarias. Esta aprobación supone que de inmediato se proceda a la redacción del proyecto.
En esta acequia se proyectarán dos balsas laterales, una para abastecer los sectores de Ballobar y Fraga, unas 4.110 hectáreas, y la segunda balsa para la zona de Ontiñena y Ballobar, con un total de 3.344 hectáreas.
