Proyecto de campo agrícola experimental en Fraga
La puesta en marcha de un campo agrícola experimental es uno de los proyectos que el Ayuntamiento de Fraga tiene previsto para el 2014.
El Centro de Investigación y Tecnología Agroalimentaria de Aragón -CITA tiene un centro experimental en Caspe y la intención es hacer uno complementario en Fraga según se anunción en el transcurso de unas jornadas agrícolas en noviembre de 2012.
Hace un año en el transcurso de una jornadas desde el Ayuntamiento fragatino se mostró el interés porque Fraga acogiera uno de similares caracteŕisticas y complementario .
El campo podría ser complentario al que el CITA tiene en Caspe y que responsables del ayuntamiento fragatino visitaron el año pasado.
El CITA desarrolla proyectos relacionados con la fruticultura y cuenta con muchos grupos de trabajo consolidados que realizan investigaciones relacionadas con la mejora de variedades, costes de producción, sostenibilidad, en variedades tan importantes para nuestra zon como son el melocotón o la cereza.
